  We just received EGREGIOUSLY poor customer service at this Verizon store. My 13-year-old son and I arrived and checked in for their waitlist at 4:10, as shown by the time stamp on the text message we received. We waited outside the door of the store since all the seats inside were taken by other people waiting. Their online waitlist showed us moving up and down the waitlist over the next hour, at various times with 4 people ahead of us, then 2, then 4 again, then 2 again and finally 1. Then it stopped changing. We went inside the store and learned that we were unexplainably dropped from the waitlist, despite receiving no update text and no one calling for us. (We were very close to the door and they definitely never called us.) After waiting another 10 minutes for help with the wait list problem a Verizon employee (Catherine?) offered to add us to the wait list again but refused to honor our original time. She also suggested we might not get served by their 6:00 closing time. I argued that we should be seen next since the people remaining on their wait list all arrived after us, but to no avail. She refused to assist. Horrible customer service! If you seek even a modicum of acceptable service, I suggest you try somewhere else.

  I remember when there used to actually be staff. Now it's a ghost town. I lost track of how long I sat around just waiting to turn in my old phone for trade in. I now have to set up appointment to hand my old phone to them. Thats so stupid.
