It is now not a happy 50th birthday. The salesperson was told I only had a portable dishwasher. The sales person said no problem because I bought their $200 geek package there would be no problem. Well, not only was the job scheduled wrong they did not install because I did not have water lines or electricity. The serviceman had to call and reschedule because he had a job that had to be completed before 1 pm. SO MARRY UNBIRTHDAY TO ME.
- JOJeremy OlsonDec 19, 20181.0NO STARS! Purchased, and geek squad protection, for a microwave May, 2016. Had geek squad out March, 2018, to fix the rattling and it wouldn't heat. It finally heated, rattling was never fixed. They were out again August, 2018 to fix the door sensor (wouldn't sensor or turn on because it didn't recognize the door was closed). They didn't know which sensor it "might" be, so they ordered and replaced all of them! I called again December 2018, it won't heat again. The over charges in making the house call CANCELLED my 5 year warranty that I purchased, since geek squad warranty is only up to the amount of the purchase. They seriously want me to pay geek squad to come out and temporarily fix the heating up issue, AGAIN! Really? Why would I pay to have them come out again to make a TEMPORARY FIX!? Utterly ridiculous. I will never purchase this plan again! Read the small print people, and look at the reviews. I've noticed, since this happened to me, ALOT of people have been complaining about the warranty.
