- DDDrew DawgDec 12, 20251.0Wouldn't honor any new customer promotions, cell phone prices etc. Tried raising the cost of the phone I was looking at, which was $150 with the promotion, $400 without. They were making it a $600 phone. Plus another $300 in fees, then what ever the service plan was. I also wanted to transfer/keep my current number and i was told they don't do that. Even though the promotional ad stated you could. I already had a provider, so I wasn't really needing to switch. Needless to say, after that price gouging and such, I will never use cricket.
