- TPTravis PrattOct 9, 20251.0I went to this store at the direction of an online Verizon representative due to poor cell service and many attempts to fix the issues failed. So I drove 45 minutes to the store walked in and told them I was told to go there for help and stated why. Without even looking up my account to review notes I was told there was nothing they could do but maybe put in a ticket. I stated I was told to go to the store and assured the had the tools to help and stated I’ve already done multiple tickets and tier 2 tech support which all failed and is why I am there. I asked him to look at the account but they refused. Said they don’t understand why they would say to go there. So basically told to kick rocks by the store rep which has now trashed 16 years of my business and now multiple people I know are leaving Verizon in the coming days as a result.

I came in needing help with my phone, and instead of actually assisting me, the staff just told me what to do — no effort to walk me through it, no follow-up questions, no real support. It felt like they wanted to get rid of me more than help me. To make things worse, the manager was literally playing a game on his phone while talking to me. Completely unprofessional. I’ve heard negative things about him before, and now I understand why. It’s honestly shocking that Verizon allows this kind of behavior from someone in a leadership role. No wonder Galesburg didn’t want him. Overall, this store is a complete joke. If this is how Verizon treats customers, it makes you wonder what else they don’t care about. That manager needs to be fired — plain and simple. Avoid this location if you actually want help or respect.
