Purchased a camera on October 15th for our daughter for Christmas and the thing will not hold a charge and they will not allow a return or exchange. Don't buy the Minolta duo camera, it appears to be junk

When I took the box to the register, I was told the pair I grabbed was the second generation and cost $150 more than the demo model I tried. I explained that I wanted the exact pair I tested. I was then told they could help me order it online through the store, only to find out that it could not be ordered because Best Buy is discontinuing it. I do not understand why a product would be on demo if it is not available for purchase. I will be buying them elsewhere.

Despite multiple attempts to escalate, I was told repeatedly that this was the “final decision” and that nothing further would be done. The store and corporate customer care were unhelpful, dismissive, and unprofessional. This has been the worst experience I’ve had with any retailer. I would not recommend Best Buy for purchases requiring reliable delivery or responsive customer service.
