    I had scheduled a battery replacement for my Iphone at this store. You literally cannot speak to a physical person in the store it sends you to a call center who tells you the store doesnt accept calls. I spoke with the person who told me it would take about an hour and we scheduled everything over the phone for the battery replacement. I scheduled my day around this appointment considering it could take upwards of an hour + When I arrived they tell me they cannot do the replacement because they are working on somebody elses phone and there is not enough time to do both. My appointment was for 5:40pm. I have worked for geek squad and have been an apple certified technician at my store. Its absolutely insane that I was quoted this… I was informed it was a newer tech working that day which didnt exactly give me the most optimistic view on the situation. Safe to say ill be going to another citys best buy for the battery replacement

    I brought my laptop into Geek Squad on Dec 24th for water damage. They informed me they had to send it off to Apple since they did not fix laptops in house. I was emailed a service order number, but when I tried to track my service order it would tell me that I needed to contact the store because they could not locate the order. When contacting the store I was sent to a 3rd party representative which was no help they just told me they did not have an update and it was currently at Apple. This response was given to me for the next two weeks. On the 4th I called support and was told to look at it via Apple since they are the ones that have my laptop. I contacted Apple and they are waiting on my approval of a new estimate that I was sent, I told her that I was never sent a new estimate and that I had no knowledge of any new estimate. The Apple lady also told me that my laptop repair order was not submitted correctly and that the repairs were not going towards my Apple insurance and if I wanted it to go through insurance I would need to cancel my service order and I would need to resubmit one to Apple myself. I then called Best Buy got a 3rd party person again and told them I wanted to cancel my service order and have my laptop sent back to me. I called the store on the 5th I had left a message with the Ames store to give me a call to confirm my service order was canceled. I had not gotten a call back by the next day(5th) so I drove an hour down to the store to make sure that it was canceled. When I got to the store they said that the order was not canceled and they would do that for me, I asked them when my laptop will be back to me they said if it is not here within 2 weeks I should come back and ask for a manager. I got a call today the 8th stating that my laptop was sent to the wrong location(West Des Moines) and that i can either come and get it or I can have it mailed to me but that will take a least a week. This has been the WORST experience of my life! If I could leave 0 stars I would, I will never be investing in any best buy membership again nor will I be buying anything from them again! Horrible customer service, it is easier to get ahold of the President much less than a non 3rd party customer service representative.
