If you go in for a repair, don’t believe what they tell you about return time. My kid is about to leave for study abroad and they told us AppleCare+ repair would be ready days ago. Now they tell us they are waiting on parts. So she is leaving for college in another country without her laptop. If they had been honest with us, we would’ve waited and gotten it repaired at the Apple Store where she will be studying since AppleCare is worldwide. I asked manager if we could get a loaner or something- his “solution” was to buy a new one with a student discount then trade in the old one when the repair comes back for their low trade in value (trade in value about the same as what we’re paying for the repair with AppleCare). Like how is buying a replacement laptop a solution? I even asked if they could send the repair to her after it comes back but they said they cant ship it overseas. Everyone there is friendly but that doesn’t help if they give you the wrong information and screw you over. If you ever need a repair and have AppleCare, I’d suggest bypassing the store altogether and going the advance replacement route where Apple sends a replacement to your house and you send back the broken device.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Steve Jobs didn’t die for this terrible customer service. The bad apples in the red hats are the worst at helping with any help. They only care about you if you buy things. I tried to ask a bad apple a questions about iCloud and he actively backed away as soon as he heard I was not buying a $1000 product. I just bought a $1000 Apple product a few weeks ago! I wish people actually cared about these reviews so I could get some questions answered. I’m surprised I don’t need to pay $1000 more dollars for this dang review. I have to edit this after because I went back in to get some help from another man, not part of the “Genius Bar” (big geniuses those people are) and his explanation of the iCloud was him saving his hands and little fingers in the air saying the iCloud is up here. Big help… NOT!

I had the worst experience at this Apple Store. My friend and I went there planning to replace our phone batteries. We were assisted by an agent, we explained what we needed, and he scheduled an appointment for us an hour later with the technician who was supposed to handle the battery replacements. We were told to come 10 minutes before the appointment so the Apple agents could take us in advance. We followed the instructions exactly, but we were picked up by someone only after 10 minutes, even though there were agents walking back and forth who were most likely free to help us. After waiting, an agent finally took us and asked us to sit down for another 10 minutes, and only then did another agent come and ask us to sit at a table because someone would come talk to us. This whole process took another 10 minutes until the third agent arrived. I explained that I wanted to change my battery, the paperwork and checks began, and after about 5 minutes of him going through my phone, he suddenly decided to check whether they even had the battery in stock. SURPRISE! They didn’t. I was told I could go the next day to another Apple Store because they *might* have the battery and could make me an appointment, but they needed to check with them first. Instead of doing that from the start, she asked me to fill out yet another form, even though it wasn’t at all certain that the issue could be solved at that store. To me, it’s honestly ridiculous to go through all this paperwork without checking first whether there’s an actual solution. Not to mention, I found it stupid that the guy who booked our appointment didn’t check himself whether the battery was in stock. Extremely stupid in my opinion, and a complete waste of time. Also worth mentioning: we were on vacation, and I definitely would’ve preferred to spend my time doing something other than waiting at Apple for nothing.

Terrible experience. Staff inconclusive and busy. I had an appointment and they assisted me only for two minutes since they were too busy on Black Friday day. Genius Bar service unacceptable, I entered with an issue on my computer and I left with the same issue!!! They basically told me what to do and I had to try to fix it by myself at home. I couldn't even stay there and see whether I was able to do it by myself. When I went home I had to call apple care customer service which they assisted me on the phone step by step compared to this store. This is not a proper technical service!!! totally useless!!! ChatGBT was more useful.
