  A safe and controlled learning environment with protective and informative professionals... they gave advice about progression and explained every step during training to highlight the exact reason why drills and maneuvers are necessary... I would recommend using this family of seasoned staff with a caring and genuine owner for new riders and refresher training.. I garentee you will be a better rider if you do!

  Just did my CBT with Ben, he’s a really friendly and approachable instructor, puts you at ease and keeps you riding safely. Came just to do a CBT but reckon I’ll come back and do the full test, thanks Ben

  If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!! I turned up this morning for my CBT and was with Amba! I could not of wished for a more understanding, patient instructor if I tried! She was so lovely and made me feel very comfortable to ask as many questions as I wanted (she even put up with a lot of stalling!) I arrived having NEVER ridden any bike or moped before and by the end of it I was zooming around on a little manual 125cc! If you are thinking about booking your CBT this is the place to do it! You will not be dissappointed! Thank You Billy’s (i’m sure i’ll be back!)

  I was fortunate enough to come across Billy’s whilst looking for a school to do my MOD2. I have moved house a lot whilst doing my A licence and this is the 3rd school I’ve ridden with. I can hands down say Ben and the team are the best. They are so relaxed and welcoming. I did 2 days training and my MOD2 and passed with 2 minors. Ben is not only a very good motorcyclist and instructor but one of the best teachers I have ever come across. I’ve been on countless courses and training days through work but Ben sticks out as one of the best teachers. I genuinely could not recommend this school enough for anything bike related. I went from struggling with my MOD2 to an almost clean sheet in just 2 days. Properly chuffed.

  Billy's Motorcycle Training - The venue - Excellent semi-rural location. Easy to get to for the early start with no traffic jams. Great little setup on site, plenty of safe parking. Portacabin for the theory stuff and tea/coffee. Even a TV for anyone waiting around. All equipment supplied if required and all clean and good quality. Training area is slightly sloping and compact, so is challenging, but that is what you need. Booking the course was also a pleasure, very helpful and efficient. The student - The wrong side of 50 and never ridden a motorbike! Always wanted to, but haunted by witnessing a fatal motorbike accident in my late teens. That subsequently made me a very steady and cautious driver for 37years. But as Clint Eastwood said "every good man knows his limitations"! The instructor - Ben - Top bloke, very professional. Strict (he has to be), encourages you out of your comfort zone, very fair and honest with his appraisals and patient (he needed to be with me)! Also very approachable with any questions or concerns you have. Result - Two attempts to get my CBT certificate. Learnt a great deal and also scared myself senseless at times. I am not a natural motorbike rider that is for certain, but I had a go........ Will I continue to my full licence? Maybe........ If I do, I would certainly do the training with Billy's. Thank you Ben for your help and encouragement and for putting up with me :-)
