  I engaged Activ8 Electrical services to fit an EV charger for a recently purchased electric vehicle. I chose them because of their good Google reviews and was not disappointed! Jamie came to survey the work and immediately came up with a solution that defeated another company. He identified a cable run from the front of my house to my garage at the rear of my garden that could be used with minimal disruption to expensive tiling and the garden. He and James spent the best part of a day installing a new supply from my meter cupboard to the garage; downgrading a potentially dangerous fuse amperage in my consumer unit; fitting 2 outside plug sockets; fitting a new fuse box and RCBO's in the garage; as well as fitting a main brand charger to my internal garage wall. All of this was carried out with the minimum of disruption to our electricity supply, quietly professional, and extremely tidily. Their only need was a ready supply of tea and biscuits! An inspired decision on my part, I believe? I can recommend Activ8 wholehardly.

  James & Jamie installed an EV charger quickly and very efficienctly. Extremelly professional and good quality. Their ability to come up with a creative solution to avoid a potential costly installation was something i was genuinley not expecting. Between visiting to provide a quote, and installation was a matter of days. Great service, would highly recommend.

  We engaged James and Jamie from Activ8 to run electricity into our garage, put up a Ring video doorbell at the front door and a security camera on the garage, install a light in the understairs cupboard, put a light under the kitchen cupboards, and install a new overhead light in the kitchen. James and Jamie were punctual, polite, professional, tidy, friendly and pro-active, making helpful suggestions about the best way to install the equipment. We would highly recommend them.

  I have recently had a number of electrical jobs done in my house and would thoroughly recommend James & Jamie of Activ8 Electrical services. I had an initial visit to discuss the work, followed by a quote. Both electricians were happy to discuss and explain any queries I had whilst working.   Hello James and Jamie, than you so much for the recent work you both did. The sewing room is now brilliant for working and I can see to thread my needle! I can now sit n my conservatory at night and plug in a light to read by. Marvellous! Also all the other adjustments have been so useful. You did a clean and tidy job and are very nice people to have in my home . Thanks again Ingrid Mair
