  My daughter had her assessment for Autism and ADHD here last summer only after 4 months of waiting on the Right to Choose pathway. I had been fighting for support since she was 2 years old and to get seen and diagnosed so quickly after so long was amazing. She was 11 at the time, and we were all so thrilled to finally have answers - although as mum, I just knew anyway. Confirmation and this diagnosis has changed our lives so much - we now have an EHCP and support that we've needed for a long time. It's not perfect and I'm constantly advocating for her, but we are on the right path now. Thank you to the whole team for their support, especially Cat and Oren - you were so kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I would like to add that the communication side of things could be better - unanswered emails and repeated chasing made things tricky although I do understand it can be hard to manage admin, I support with clients who are AuDHD and I look after their admin. Anyway, thank you from the bottom of my heart - you have helped us so much!

  The family psychologist have been incredible. My daughter was diagnosed with both autism and adhd. The process was quick. The assessors were really understanding and caring and generally listened to all of my concerns doing their best to help in every single way they could. They have been the only people to listen and help and I know that even though my daughter has been diagnosed if I had any problems I could phone and they’d still do their best to help. Couldn’t be anymore thankful to them for everything they have done. Definitely reccomend! Thankyou so much family psychologist our family appreciate all of your kindness so much!!

  I had my autism assessment with Sarah and I honestly can’t thank her enough for the support she gave me throughout the entire process. I was quite anxious, and some of the assessment tasks felt awkward and uncomfortable, but Sarah had such a kind, calming presence that she made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to explain every step of the process clearly, answered my questions with patience, and never made me feel rushed or judged. Her compassion, understanding, and genuine care made what could have been a very overwhelming experience feel safe and reassuring. Receiving an autism diagnosis as an adult is such a significant moment, and I’m incredibly grateful that Sarah was the person who guided me through it. She made me feel seen, understood, and accepted. She is truly in the right profession, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

  We had a brilliant experience at The Family Phychologist, Amie the Manager was fab at organising everything for my sons assessment. I had a few phone calls with her and each was very professional and reassuring at the same time. When we arrived we were welcomed with a cup of tea and colouring for my son, we were made to feel very welcome and at home, everyone was so friendly. We saw 3 different people during my sons assessment and each one gave him so much time and patience, it really was a good experience for him. We got a diagnosis a day after our last assessment so I am really pleased with the time frames. I would definitely recommend this company.
