  We had a brilliant experience at The Family Phychologist, Amie the Manager was fab at organising everything for my sons assessment. I had a few phone calls with her and each was very professional and reassuring at the same time. When we arrived we were welcomed with a cup of tea and colouring for my son, we were made to feel very welcome and at home, everyone was so friendly. We saw 3 different people during my sons assessment and each one gave him so much time and patience, it really was a good experience for him. We got a diagnosis a day after our last assessment so I am really pleased with the time frames. I would definitely recommend this company.

  The Family psychologist were excellent. They are kind, considerate, and reasonably minded people, and they assessed my autism without judgement or prejudice. They seemed to see through my exterior and pick up on key details which the whole of the medical profession (amongst other professions) over the years totally missed (when I needed help and support). The whole experience has given me a new understanding of myself as a person, the keys to understanding my experiences, and the validation that I have been right about a lot in my life up to now. Also this is going to enable me to start again and potentially have a brighter future. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  I took my son for an initial Assessment at the The Family Psychologist this week. I can't fault the professionalism and friendliness of all the practice support staff and the Doctor himself. This is so important at what for many of us, may be a time of some stress, and I have been reassured at every stage that all the correct procedures and the best care is being taken to ensure the most positive and correct outcome.
