I chose London Road Bathrooms after careful consideration and an initially positive experience with their sales team. Unfortunately, what followed has been extremely frustrating.
Incorrect items were supplied, which meant we couldn’t proceed with installation as planned. This has had a knock-on effect on the entire project, leaving us without a working bathroom for an extended period.
While I have been kept updated on delays relating to the towel radiator (currently advised for 7th May), the tap situation remains unresolved. The wrong item was initially supplied, and when a replacement was sourced, it then had to be remade due to imperfections. As it stands, I still have no confirmed delivery date for this.
What has been most disappointing is the lack of follow-through at management level. I escalated this and was told I would receive a call on Monday, which didn’t happen. I was then told Tuesday — again, no call and no update since.
I don’t usually write reviews like this, and I have tried to resolve things directly, but I now feel I’ve run out of options.
At this point, the issue is no longer just the original error, but the ongoing delays, uncertainty, and lack of accountability.
I would still prefer to resolve this directly, but it has become very difficult to do so without any response.
Follow up message:
Following my original review, the owner contacted me personally to apologise for the issues I had experienced. I appreciated the call and his acknowledgement that the service I had received had fallen below expectations.
Unfortunately, despite that conversation, the situation remains unresolved. My towel rail was significantly delayed and, when it eventually arrived, it had been damaged in transit. The damaged item was left with me to dispose of, and I am now facing a further lead time of around three months for a replacement.
During our conversation, the owner offered a gesture of goodwill in recognition of the inconvenience caused. However, despite following up on two separate occasions, I have received no response and no update regarding the promised gesture.
I understand that some supply chain and manufacturing delays may have been outside the company’s control. However, communication and follow-through are within a company’s control, and that is where I feel particularly let down.
I had hoped the matter would be resolved after speaking directly with the owner, but unfortunately that has not been the case.
