- SGSofia GondalJun 22, 20262.0Three customer services told me to get my daughter's phone assessed for repair so i drove to maidenhead from slough as the shop had good reviews. The young lady at the three store said I was advised wrongly and needed to go to samsung. She was polite and apologised. But a wasted journey. Not the shop's fault. But here is why 2 stars for their service. As a temporary measure i bought pAYGo sim. It didnt work without an unlock code. I called this store and was told to call Three. I spent 45 minutes with Three customer services who in the end said they cant help. I called this shop back and was told to come back for a refund. I then came today and was disappointed by the male staff whom I explained the situation to and who kept saying the staff member who dealt with me was on break. I explained the entire story only to be asked to repeat the whole story again when a man I assume was the manager came out. They both said we dont refund pAYGo sim. I said it was not fit for purpose as I could not use it nor was I given a receipt. Very reluctantly and quite rudely they refunded the £10. Only then was I advised by the manager that to unlock the sim i didnt have to call three but the original network provider for my phone. After 2 hours on phone with customer services and two trips to maidenhead, I was given the correct advice! I then said they should tell customers the correct advice and the manager replied ' no, we are not a customer care service, you customers should tell each other'. Wow. I will be cancelling my 3 contracts with Three and returning to ee.
