I joined Re-Wilds Wild Woman Retreat July 2026, and oh my goodness would I recommend this? Absolutely!
I booked on not knowing anyone else there, and felt apprehensive about the social part, whilst looking forward to some time to myself to recharge and recuperate. My husband challenged me to put my phone away for the entire weekend to which I responded “I will if I want to!”. I did want to, and I found myself phone free for 48 hours (hard to believe in today’s day and age!), in a wonderfully supportive group of women, making connections and bonds that I don’t believe will end at this weekend.
Gemma holds the space effortlessly and beautifully, balancing the line of being a supportive group leader with being relatable and human perfectly. She is approachable, non intrusive, full of knowledge and ideas, light, and just such a pleasure to be around.
Rhi and Ang, who cooked, made wholesome, tasty colourful dishes that truly nourished all of the women on the retreat, whilst also inspiring so many questions around the dinner table about ‘what was in this?’ and ‘how did you make that part?’. Their energy was also radiant and bright, they held the space so well. Cooking was communal on a volunteer basis (you help Rhian and Ange prepare food if you want to, and you tidy up if you want to). On the whole, this group of women got stuck in, and the energy was of togetherness, and support.
Activities were wholesome, with enough time for down time, sauna (cannot get enough of a sauna!), the hot tub, and meal times. Yoga was each morning, followed by forest bathing on the Saturday, and art on the Saturday afternoon (dream catchers). Sunday, after yoga was a lake swim (AMAZING!!!) and then woman’s circle after lunch.
I didn’t have a massage, although I heard fantastic things about Sasha’s aromatherapy massages.
It felt good to be doing so many good things for my body. If anything, my body was confused (not used to back to back nourishment), but this weekend was a huge reminder about how much more in tune with my body I need to be (through yoga especially). This group of women are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and I have heard, and shared, a lot of stories and life stuck points/struggles/dilemmas, from which we then saw things shift/become unstuck. We plan to (and will!) meet again!
Thanks Gemma & Co, you are absolute superstars!
