  At 44 I decided to try horse riding again having had lessons for a short while when I was a child. I started group lessons at a riding school but after about 1 year I was feeling frustrated as I wasn't really progressing. When I came to Charlotte I was shocked to find that I couldn't ride her beautiful horse, Ruby, in a straight line; the horses in the group lessons were just following the leader. Lessons with Charlotte have been game changing - really hard at times, but so helpful, and I know I have learnt so much more in the last 8 months than I ever would have elsewhere. Spending time with the horses before and after lessons has also taught me so much and I enjoy this as much as the riding. If you are starting out or returning to riding I would highly recommend Charlotte, she is committed to making sure you really know what you are doing both on and off the horse and will encourage you and help you work on the things that are holding you back.

  Back on 12th April we stayed at Green Hill Farm and wanted a lesson for both of our granddaughters age 6 and 2 years old. The owner of our accommodation at Green Hill Farm recommended Charlotte and we were not disappointed! Both girls were prepared with helmets and walked to the stables hand in hand…..to then ride out to a separate field. What an experience it was for our older child who had never ridden before - she was confident and managed to stay focused as she was encouraged to walk and trot as instructed. Our youngest had no fear, learning with Charlotte, as she also was shown how to walk and trot around! The staff were so kind, making both girls really welcome and they really enjoyed the experience. I know now they will want to continue! Brilliant day - thanks to all the staff - we’ve recommended this stable to the owners at Green Hill Farm to add to their local interest file as it was only a 5 minute drive from the site. Thank you all so much!

  Whilst on a holiday break locally we took our 4 yr old grandson for his first ever horse ride to Charlotte’s place. She and Zoe were just so lovely and considerate. He was “introduced” to Pepper - his ride - and with Zoe’s guidance groomed and helped getting Pepper ready. As our grandson is autistic the Springall team were amazing - well used to children like him. He enjoyed the experience very much. And we did too. Thank you Charlotte (and also for Bernadette the chickens eggs!).
