  BE AWARE WHEN PURCHASING CONSOLES FROM THIS STORE LIKE I DID. I PURCHACED AN XBOX SERIES X FROM THIS STORE. WHEN I GOT IT BACK I NOTICED THE CONTROLLER BUTTON WAS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY AND ALSO THE LEFT ANALOGUE STICK HAD SERIOUS STICK DRIFT NOT TO MENTION THE STICKER INSIDE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT HAD BEEN PEELED BACK AND RESTUCK. TOOK IT BACK AND WE WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS WOKING FINE WHEN THEY TESTED IT AND I ONLY HAD IT LESS THAN 2 HRS I WILL NEVER BE GOING TO THAT STORE AGAIN!!!!!! THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING WHEN IT COMES TO INSPECTING ITEMS. THEY ALWAYS PASS THE BLAME TO THE CUSTOMERS NEVER THEMSELVES THEY ARE HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NEVER REFUND YOU WHEN THE FAULT IS THEIRS. JUST A BUNCH OF KIDS THAT DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

  WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE ELECTRONIC ITEMS FROM HERE THE SELL YOU A PHONE THAT HAS APPARENTLY GOT SCRATCHES ON THE SCREEN AND THEN WHEN YOU FIND OUT ITS A HAIRLINE CRACK THEY DENY ANY KNOWLEDGE AND REFUSE TO HELP. IN RESPONSE TO THE REPLY THE CRACK WAS NOT CLEARLY VISABLE AS IT LOOKED JUST LIKE THE SEVERAL DEEP SCRATCHES ON THE SCREEN AND IF I WOULD OF NOTICED THE CRACK UNDER THE POOR LIGHTING IN THE STORE I WOULD NEVER OF PURCHASED IT.I KNOW THAT A C GRADE DOES COME WITH DAMAGE BUT I DID NOT EXPECT A CRACK WHEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS A DEEP SCRATCH THIS WAS POINTED TO ON THE CCTV.

  A smaller but still great store. Most of the staff remain from the old store which is really lovely to see. Was a busier day on our visit however the staff have always been great with us. No DVD section at this location but that is likely due to the smaller size. Still the great CeX Newbury we all know and love. Was served by Courtney (I believe her name was) and she was great. Always worth a look in here.

  Girl working there decided to call one of her co-workers a " FCUKING C.U.N.T" in front of my 10 year old daughter!!! I confronted her and asked to speak to her manager called "DAN" . Before he came to see me to register my complaint , I heard the other person she called a " FCUKING C.U.N.T" say to "DAN" ... " She was saying it to me , not him ". Is that an excuse to be using that language in front of anyone especially children ?? Absolute bunch of vile wasters. I will not be using them ever again.
