  My experience with Golden Line Taxis was mixed. On the one hand, the driving experience was great. The driver was on time, contacted me via text to let me know that he had arrived, was polite and kindly helped me with my luggage, and the drive went smoothly. On the other hand, the customer service wasn’t that good. After submitting a booking request via the online form, my booking hadn’t yet been confirmed 12 hours later, so I had to call and ask about it; they then confirmed the booking. Then, the night before my pickup, which was scheduled for 5.30am, Golden Line Taxis called me at around 10pm to ask me to reschedule to 5.15pm. When I said that I’d rather not do so, they essentially gave me the impression that I didn’t have much of a choice since they wouldn’t have enough drivers working on the day to pick me up at 5.30am. When I then asked whether it would be possible to at least get a discount on the £39 (for a 15min drive) since I would now be picked up at a different time from what I originally requested, I was told that this wouldn’t be an option. This experience didn’t make me feel particularly valued as a customer.

  Although we got where we needed to go, this was far from a smooth experience. We flew in from overseas and needed a taxi to our ultimate destination. The driver was not there upon our arrival. When we called, we were told that he was waiting for us to call and would be there in 10 minutes. It was never communicated to us that we needed to call upon arrival. It took at least 40 min to finally meet up with the driver. They also didn’t communicate that the rate would be higher than quoted if you paid by credit card. All worked out fine in the end but I’d have a hard time recommending this company.

  I've booked a taxi with Golden Line and they turned up on time,very reasonable prices and very friendly service.I definetaly recommend this taxi company.
