  I rang their bell on a rainy Thursday as I needed a rapid (small) bit of welding (rustic stable sign). They took the job, were polite and very helpful, we agreed a price, and they promised it would be ready in a few hours that day. I rang their bell again later, still raining, job done as promised and perfect to my sketchy verbal description. Their work was beautiful and just what our stables needed. If / when we have any more needs for welding, The Welding Shop will always be our first port of call.

  Peter and his team have been excellent in fitting two ramps to two panel vans over the past six months. The second ramp was difficult to fit due to the chassis design so they created a clever bracket to fit it in place. I highly reccommend their services. Workshops with skilled craftsman like this are becoming increasingly hard to come by. The Welding Shop is an asset to Reading.

  Had an urgent need for some brazing that I presented to Peter. His response was excellent and quality of work superb! Peter and Daniel take on some amazing, large, precise and complex projects so feel very pleased that they were able to make time for this wee challenge. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
