  Outstanding. Our knowledgeable, companionable driver-guide, Damian (who took the accompanying photo), gave us a wonderful introduction to the Highlands and Isle of Skye. It was the experience of a lifetime. Highly recommended.

  I came to Scotland for the first time in 2010. There weren't many private tours at the time and Discreet Scotland was one of a handful. It was just starting out and Matthew, the owner, was actually one of my guides. I fell in love with the country so much that I promised myself two things: I'd come back with the woman I'd propose to and I'd be sure to book Discreet Scotland Tours again. So 2026, sixteen years later, I was able to make good on my promises. I proposed at Eilean Doonan then my fiancé and I went down to Edinburgh to meet Damian who was our guide for two days. He wasn't more of a guide than he was a friend. We talked about Scottish history as much as we talked about our personal lives. Safe to say we had a braw of a tour. (that means a great time) Damian was both knowledgeable of the surroundings and flexible to our schedules and what we wanted to see. We laughed many times sharing stories and he got a kick out of me using the local slang. (I do my homework) He was very kind enough to even buy me a wee (small) book on the topic! So if you're looking for a pure dead brilliant private tour agency and a well barry of a time, don't hesitate for a second and book Discreet Scotland Tours. I'm definitely returning in a year or two with more of my family and will ring them up again! Thank you Damian and Matthew, lang may yer lum reek !

  Damian was terrific! He showed us around for 2 days and we were able to customise our tours on both days. We didn't feel rushed at all. He was always early, was genuinely warm and welcoming while still being professional. Just an overall lovely person. He had so many entertaining stories and information to tell us about the places we visited and the things we saw. I was quite sad when it was time to go back to Edinburgh! It felt like saying goodbye to a good friend. Thank you, Damian - for the gifts, the stories, the time and the memories! 😊

  Third trip with Discreet Scotland and another great experience. Best way to see a piece of Scotland with guide who knows history and culture and the little things that make the experience special. Worth it in every way.
