  We struck gold when we found Goodwins Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms of Wirksworth to carry out our kitchen renovation and garage conversion to a pantry and shower room. From stepping through the showroom door, the whole process has been seamless and professional. Michael is dedicated to ensuring everything runs smoothly and coordinated the whole project brilliantly. Everyone and everything appeared on the day they were scheduled and his detailed Quotation included absolutely everything, so there were no unexpected surprises. His teams of builders, plumbers, joiners, electricians and decorators completed everything according to the schedule outlined and were professional, courteous and meticulous in all aspects of the project. Michael responded immediately to all messages and emails, was very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. His designs perfectly brought to life the kitchen of my dreams! Every aspect of the project was carried out to the highest standard and we cannot recommend Goodwins Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms highly enough. Thank you to everyone for their part in creating our wonderful new kitchen, pantry and shower room!

  From start to beyond completion, Goodwin’s kitchens and bathrooms have been one of the most brilliant experiences I’ve had in using a company to put in a new kitchen and bathroom. This has been especially important to me as someone with stage 4 cancer and who is profoundly deaf. It was a big deal for me to undertake some renovations. It’s been a seamless process because Michael is always at the helm of the process, in control, communicative and flexible. I was recommended Michael and I’m so unsurprised now because of this. His workmen are astounding in their craftsmanship skills and knowledge, but Michael is the star of the show. He really cares about the customer. I have a beautifully hand crafted painted kitchen and two stunning bathrooms. Everyone asks who did them! I am so thankful to Michael and his team for everything they’ve done, and particularly their sensitivity working around my not so good cancer days to make the process bearable for me. Thank you 🙏

  Professional, "can-do" and a pleasure to work with. Michael and his team did a brilliant job on two bathrooms. Completely gutted and re-fitted, including the design, sourcing, fitting and finishing. The whole team work well together and speak highly of each other. This includes sub-contractors (eg electricians). Communications and expectations management was great throughout and the job was completed in line with the timetable. When a small hic-up occurred, Michael was straight onto it, consulting with solutions immediately. Overall, excellent and highly recommended.

  Highly recommended! Helpful design input and suggestions with no sales pressure. Once the design was finalised it turned into a well managed project. Everything happened on time, we were kept up to date with everything with no surprises, all issues were dealt with. A thank you to the decorators, people who re-plastered the walls, the electricians and plumbers. And special thanks to Jim and Lee who carried out the kitchen installation work, great attention to detail, care and expertise, they went the extra mile. We are pleased with the end result and would come back to this company in the future. Well done Michael !

  Michael was very helpful with all aspects of the design and sourcing. Timely delivery, fair prices and very responsive to questions would definitely recommend.
