It was Ramadhan and I had lost my phone and needed a replacement SIM card. I went in there with my birth certificate. Three had my email address slightly wrong so they were unable to verify me over the phone and send me a pincode to my email and send me a replacmemnet sim card via post. I went in there with the intention of getting my sim card sent to me. I was fasting and there was this asian customer service person called Umer, as I could see from his name badge, he told me he was the manager of the store, a young boy. He walked out went to costa coffee came back in the store, whilst he was talking his breathe smelled of cigarettes. Whilst I was on the phone to customer services in the three shop asking to correct my email address he very abruptly interrupted my conversation saying, "Asking 10,000 questions, correct the email and leave". I'm quite a old guy now in my 40's, I don't like disrespect, bullying especially whilst I was vulnerable and had no energy as I was fasting, which also can effect your mental state, regardless, I replied you need to speak with people with professionalism and manners, he then started looking at me into my eyes trying to intimidate me. Another customer service person, bald, asian with glasses, if I can recall his name badge was Ibrahim, Abdul or something walked up to me and said look if you argue where gonna call security. I explained to him what happened and he tried to calm the situation down, I wasn't going to react anyway as im 40, I have a lot of life experiece. Abdullah then started touching my arms and trying to push me out of the store, again I repeat it was the holy month of Ramadhan I was not in any mood to argue or be aggressive in any way or form. I then said to the manager, "you look like a 20 year old boy with no manners" he then replied "I'm 33 years old and I have 2 kids at home, meet me after I finish work at 5pm" you know implying he wants to fight me or something, he then - Umer started laughing continously with a big grin. There was another 3 young customer service assistant in the store 3 young girls. The asian girl started saying " your making a fool of yourself" and the white girl said continuosly "go away", I have to refer to these workers with there ethncity as I didn't get there badge name. I was feeling really uncomfortable at this point so I went to the security guard who was standing further up in the mall near Iceland, I honestly explained them the sitaution what was going on, I asked them to escort me out of the shopping mall with my personal electric bike and to report this to the mall managers. The security guard showed me empathy and took my number. As he was escorting me out of the mall, Umer was still laughing, I ignored him, kept walking out with my electric bike out of the shopping mall and cycled home. I called three customer service up, they said they will investigate the incident. Looking at the google reviews, it seems like they pick and choose who to behave well to and who to disrespect and insult which goes against dicrimination, equality, diversity and inclusion policies. People like this should not be working in Three or any customer service positions and I dont know how they even got this job. I didn't need the stress. As you can see from all my reviews over the years, I always leave honest reviews and with integrity. I didn't even know these staff members who work in the three store and my intention was to sort my sim card out and go home. I could have even gone to another three store ie three store westfield stratford, which is open late, three store enfield, three store walthamstow, it would have been very easy for me to travel to these stores on my electric bike which is powerful and has a long battery life, you know. Who was right or wrong? There behaviour was unprofessional, unacceptable, disrespectful, abusive, threatening, strange and rude. I should have avoided this store but how did I know I would be treated like this. AVOID this store and maybe go to another three store. I have written this review with integrity.
