Look elsewhere and STAY CLEAR.
I brought a transit custom that had been accident repaired by these cowboys, it shouldn't have passed an MOT that, according to the paperwork, was completed by Fencehouses MOT center just before purchase. The chassis leg was out of alignment and had been spot welded on one side only (any repair to a chassis should be fully seam welded to pass an MOT and a spot weld would be considered unsafe). The front splash guards and undertray were broken, fixings missing, and were rubbing against the front tires. The spare wheel was flat. Both the main and dipped headlight bulbs were smashed, I assume this happened in the accident (this should not have passed an MOT). The aircon connection pipe was damaged and poorly repaired.
The MOT mentioned no advisories, but the rear tires were on the limit, worn on the inner edge, and had sidewall damage (at a minimum, this should have been an advisory on the MOT).
The issues were brought to Joe's attention by the seller of the vehicle who asked him to contact me. He failed to respond to defend his shoddy work. His silence speaks volumes.
It will cost 3.5k to make the vehicle safe and able to pass a genuine MOT.
It is unbelievable that a business that claims to repair Amazon vehicles carries out work to such a poor standard. I'm sure Amazon will be interested to hear about my experience.
Will report to trading standards and report the MOT tester/center to DVSA.
For a company that claims to repair hundreds of cars each year, they have very few reviews.
Stay clear and save yourself the hassle and extra expense. You have been warned ⚠️.
Joe, in reply to your response. You may not have sold me the vehicle, but I was advised that you carried out all the repairs for the seller. The seller contacted you, and you didn't bother to respond. The repairs and the paintwork are shockingly poor. I could have done a better job with a rattle can.
You and the seller could have put this right. Over 100 views so far and an interesting conversation with Amazon transport management and trading standards.
