Had a really great stay at Foxfields Hotel and would happily recommend it. Overall, a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. The standout for me was the Artisan restaurant — absolutely brilliant. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with great quality food and a really enjoyable atmosphere. A special mention also has to go to the staff across the hotel, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The room itself was comfortable, although it was quite warm on arrival and a little stuffy at first. That said, once the windows and doors were open, the airflow improved things a lot and it became perfectly manageable. There are a couple of small practical things worth noting. The plug sockets can be a bit tricky to use (especially with certain plugs), and there aren’t any conveniently located next to the bed, which makes charging your phone overnight a bit awkward. The only area that might be slightly misleading is the leisure facilities. The hotel does have a gym and pool, but the gym is very basic — more of a small exercise room with limited equipment. The pool also closes at 4pm, which isn’t very clear online and makes it harder to fit in around a typical day. None of these points took away from the overall experience for me, and I’d still rate it a full 5 stars. Just helpful things for future guests to be aware of. Would definitely stay again.

Really lovely hotel, bar and restaurant were very smart (although we didn't eat there), outdoor patio area was great too. Location is perfect, stunning countryside and only a 5 minute taxi ride into Whalley. Room was clean and spacious, bed was big and comfy . Will definitely be coming back, had a brilliant time A1+++++

We love this hotel - we are regular guests for about seven years. It’s our favourite hotel after about ten years of travelling/booking hotels on different sites Over the last few years, improvements have been made to the hotel - management clearly know what they’re doing- it keeps getting better every time we go The balcony rooms are amazing/ the restaurant is unreal! Service is always perfect (special mention for the lovely Christine and Mario) 100% recommend it to anyone 10/10
