  Calum and his mate from Highland Trailers did an excellent job of fitting to our car a towbar with removeable towhead. They came to our house and had things all sorted in a couple of hours. Prior to their visit, Calum was most helpful in explaining things, laying out the possibilities and costs, responding quickly to e-mails and any questions I had. On the day they arrived at the agreed time and were very professional, efficient and car-careful in their car prep and fitting work. They knew exactly what they were doing, as one worked on the electrics and the other on the car bodywork and chassis. Once the towbar was fitted, Calum gave me an extremely clear and very helpful walk through of fitting & removing the towbar head and plugging in the 13 pin hook up. They also have a plug in portable case of caravan/trailer brake/indicator lights. Using this, as I was sitting in the driver's seat, Calum talked me through the car visual display and what to expect when the caravan 13 pin hook up is connected. They were friendly and approachable and willing to explain things, e-mailing copy of the worksheet and invoice the following morning. What is more, Highland Trailer's price was some £300 less than that quoted by our local VW dealership. Highly recommended.

  Everything was excellent. Callum turned up when stated, was very polite & cracked on with the tow bar fitting. Has done an excellent job, would recommend to anyone. A very good price as well! Many thanks.

  Very efficient service. The guys arrived early at the house, fitted the towbar (working on the driveway) did a test for us to see, then left. All done in 2 hours and for a lower cost than our usual garage.

  Great job by Callum and colleague fitting a new tow bar to a bit of a rusty 10 year L200 truck. An all round high quality piece of work. Very pleased customer, thanks.

  Think the guy was having an off day today. No arrival time given, just that he would arrive in the afternoon. No courtesy call to say he was on his way so we could ensure we were in. Had a bad attitude on the phone to my husband. Called him a liar for not giving him his home address, even though hubby explained he owns the house and my mother in law lives in it aswell. Called hubby a pr*ck 😂 I can assure you stuart is a patient man but he just told him to go home. Everyone has something going on in their private life (im assuming that was his problem) but doesnt justify that behaviour. Shame too as he has 5* reviews. Hopefully this doesn't happen again in future. And if you're wondering, hubby was at my house is cromdale and he wouldn't have been waiting more than 10 mins for him to arrive. I would like to add. He never mentioned how important it was to have my husbands home address or that it was part of his policy, not on the website either may i add. Might want to update that! (Which is were the service was to be done) my husband would have been lying if he gave him a different address. He is the home owner. Everything is registered to the address he attended. The car he was meant to be working on is registered to the address he attended to. Proof could have been provided if needed. Interesting his company policy was only relevant afterwards, this was never stated prior. Had this been emphasised maybe there wouldnt have been any confusion on their part. Stuart is very well respected man, Well known in the community and I can assure you not a dishonest man. The job was cancelled by my husband due to the hostility he was presented with. I would suggest being less aggressive and this would have been resolved.
