  Not a good experience at all, made me waste £500 for misdiagnosis. I call Terry to have a look at my Astra. His advice been my ECU is faulty/broken and considering the value of my car (about £2500) is not even worth to replace my ECU. Somehow I manage to replace my ECU just to found out the problem been throttle body (cost only £100) . So if I following Terry advice either scrap my car (losing over £2000) or replace my ECU ( losing £500 with his £90 error misdiagnosis). Lucky I lost only £500 and not entirely followed Terry advice to scrap my car. After I call him to tell the error he not even open to refund my £90 paid for misdiagnosis UPDATE AFTER TERRY ANSWER: No Terry, you still trying to put you up. The mechanic who came and fix my car , ( maybe you can learn from what I am saying) took him 5 minutes to diagnose the throttle problem with the car in same condition as been when you see it. He just put the tester on, found the error, then deleted, started the car push the gas which at that move then the engine stopped. Do it again the same steps, deleted error, started engine,push the gas and engine stopped. From that the conclusion been throttle body not closing/opening correct that inside flap. Quite quick and simple diagnose ( 5 minutes) . He ordered a second hand throttle body for £60 and in 5 days come and replace the faulty one with good one (4 screws and one socket, 10 minutes job ) Total charged me his work £70 and £60 the part itself. Nothing at all to do with ECU. My car is running on original/old ECU who been on the car when you checked. So for Good sake accept you miss diagnose and your error cost me hundreds of pounds.

  Blue & me disconnect for 20 minutes work £100 clip cable yes we were ok with that, But then I had to ask to come back due to an air bag electrical fault that wasn’t there before first call out another £80 for 10 minutes work. Wasn’t informed of the cost of second visit maybe call to customer before hand before repair that it will cost ? and let them decide to go ahead ….

  A massive thank you to terry for sorting my brakelight on my smart car at short notice. Really lovely and friendly guy. Would highly recommend him. Showed me what the issue was which i appreciated.

  Misdiagnosed the problem. Stayed for 10 minutes. When the problem occurred again he said he is in Canvey. How can one reach Canvey within 10 minutes. Could not fix the problem but still took £100. Avoid at all cost.
