  In May this year our family life was shattered when my dear husband and father of our two children tragically died. We had no warning, no preparation and within 24 hours our world was turned upside down. Having used the professional services of Stockman & Loram on two previous occasions I immediately turned to Les Down to steer us through the following weeks. The personal attention and professionalism we received from Les was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble and everything that we arranged for my husband's funeral was perfect. Les kept me informed of everything and was always available for contact; he was kind, comforting and a true professional. Credit must also be given to the whole team at Stockman & Loram. The team of pall bearers were impeccable throughout the service and cared for Chris with dignity and respect. They have had outstanding training which is evident in their personal appearance and conduct of military precision. A team is lead from the top. Les is at the top of the team. We cannot thank him enough for ensuring the final journey of our beloved husband and father was conducted perfectly with loving care. We could ask for no more.

  I recently had cause to have need of a Funeral Director after the passing of an elderly relative. I returned to well tried and tested services of Stockman and Loram, Funeral Directors. They have given excellent service to my family and friends on many earlier occasions. I had no reservations about seeking similar service for my aunt. Vanessa Loram at the Brixham office was my lead contact and gave exceptional care and support throughout. Within hours of my aunts passing Vanessa provided clear, concise and reassuring advice. A full spectrum of services was offered including advice on arranging a Committal Service location, finding the right officiating minister and an appropriate location for post service refreshments. On the day itself, Vanessa personally supervised arrangements for the Committal Service at Stockman & Loram private Chapel of Service. My family’s total satisfaction with how the day was conducted was also endorsed by all the guests in attendance. Thanks once again to Vanessa and all staff members at Stockman & Loram for professionalism, empathy, and impeccable service.

  Can’t thank Dom and his team enough for their professionalism and incredible work ethic with a recent funeral we had. They have helped a few generations of our family, and every single time they have gone above and beyond for us. Dom worked all hours to accommodate us, was always kind, polite, respectful and helpful. Please do not think twice about using Stockman & Loram, you couldn’t make a better choice during such a difficult time. Dom - you won’t recognise the name, but my mum really appreciated the micky cards.

  Very insensitive , rude comments made at a recent funeral, promises are requests that were confirmed NOT honoured. Very unprofessional and upsetting. Mark deserved better. Do not recommend!
