  The service provided by Stockman & Loram was exceptional from start to finish. During such a difficult and emotional time, their kindness, compassion, and professionalism were truly invaluable. Every detail was handled with the utmost care and respect and they guided us through the process with sensitivity and understanding, which is was made slightly tricky by the fact we were co-ordinating everything between Devon & Oxfordshire. Neil was incredibly supportive, always available to answer questions and offer reassurance. He took the time to listen to our wishes and ensured that everything was carried out exactly as we hoped, creating a simple service just as requested. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and genuine compassion from everyone. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and professional funeral service.

  During one of the most traumatic and saddest times of life, Dom took away all of the stress of organising a close friend’s celebration of life service in the chapel. Everything was handled with extreme professionalism, kindness and respect. All options were explained very clearly and advice given when needed. Communication was great too. Thank you to all at Stockman & Loram for making her send off so beautiful. I can 100% recommend this lovely local family run business! Excellent if you’re looking for that special personal touch 🙂

  Thank you so much. My mother was my entire world and nothing was too much for her. You looked after her as I would have and took away the stress of such a horrendous time and turned it into a blessing. You helped me feel at ease with your care and whilst I was unable to function properly, you took over my wishes and did everything and more! Her send-off was just so special and perfect! I can't imagine how i would have done this without your help! What a professional yet sensitive, wonderful experience. I can only sincerely say thank you!

  Unexpectedly our daughter died and my ex wife who had used Stockman and Loram before suggested that we use them again for our daughters funeral. Living 200 miles away I was happy to go with her recommendation. I found dealing with Les very comforting. He has a calming tone about him and I dealt with him mostly by email or telephone apart from the initial meeting where i was connected by What's App Messenger. It is not easy dealing with a child's death especially if you are 200 miles away but Les kept me up to date and informed along the way. There were some differences of opinions between my ex wife and I. For instance I wanted a limo for my side of the family and she did not and Les remained impartial and found a solution that suited us all in our difference. Les provided a very personal service to us and recommended celebrant Charles Russell who I have also left a review for. Charles was an excellent choice providing a detailed and personal service. It seemed that whatever you asked of Les, he would do and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the funeral everything went as planned by Les and company. We were hotel based and the hearse arrived at the hotel on time and the short drive to the crematorium went smoothly. Les and the team at Stockman and Loram were respectful and delivered everything you would hope for on such a difficult day. Even after the funeral Les stayed in touch just tying up loose ends. There is no doubt that Stockman and Loram helped make our daughters final farewell the best we could have expected. I believe that this is a family firm and not a national chain. If you are in need of a funeral directors then do not hesitate in choosing Stockman and Loram. Les and team at Stockman and Loram; thank you for providing such a lovely funeral for our daughter Jo. Your professionalism and dedication to providing the best service certainly helped us on the worst day of our lives.

  We used Stockman & Loram to guide us through my dad's funeral. The professional, compassionate, sincere and caring friendly service we as a family received was amazing. Dominic Loram was our funeral director, he gave time to listen and explain everything to us , nothing was to much trouble we felt relieved dad was in caring hands. Dom and his staff made a day that was difficult a more at ease beautiful send off for my dad . I would highly recommend this family run business to care for your loved one. Thank you x
