  I would highly recommend Iain and the team at Mellis Eye Care. Iain always goes above and beyond to ensure my family has a thorough assessment and always explains his findings. The front of house staff are always welcoming and polite, from Wendy who was AMAZING reassuring and encouraging my son whilst he was practising with contact lenses to Jade who is so helpful when ringing for appointments and Annette who has the patience of a saint helping pick out new frames!

  I’ve brought all three of my children to Mellis Eyecare for their eye tests, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service. My youngest son is autistic, so appointments can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for him, but the team here were absolutely amazing. Patient, gentle, and really understanding. They took their time, made him feel comfortable, and nothing ever felt rushed. As a mam, that means everything. My other son and daughter were also looked after brilliantly. You can tell they really care about the families who walk through their doors. I’m genuinely so impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mellis Eyecare to anyone. A lovely, professional team who go above and beyond.

  I have been going to Mr Mellis for many years. The best optician there is. A very thorough examination, not just 10 minutes like some High Street opticians.would highly recommend
