  I’m severely disabled and completely housebound so I had to purchase the grey camo ps5 faceplates online,once delivered I quickly noticed that cex had sent 2 of the same halves (2 covers with the ps logo cutout but no cover for the disc side),I contacted cex the very same day only and also informed them that I’m completely housebound,their discriminatory response was for me to either post them back with a note or return them to store (both ways require me to leave my home which I physically cannot do,not to mention that this fault is completely at their door not mine so I should not be expected to do things beyond my physical abilities or pay out further to rectify their mistake,I have replied to ask them to explain to me exactly how they suggest I do this given my physical disability and I’m currently awaiting their response,I feel that cex have scammed me,I categorically will not be purchasing from cex again and I will only allow 1wk for their response before I issue a chargeback claim via my bank in relation to this as I’m absolutely livid about their service from start to finish. I will actively avoid cex in future and recommend others do the same. I’ve attached photos of what I purchased and what I received.

  I visited your Walsall store on Saturday 20 June to sell my laptop. Before leaving it for testing, I made it absolutely clear to the member of staff that I was moving abroad and would not be able to return to the store. I also clearly stated that if there was any chance the laptop would not be accepted, I would not be leaving it with CEX. I was reassured that it would be fine, so I relied on what I was told and left the laptop for testing. After that, I received no communication whatsoever. It was only after a week of hearing nothing that I had to contact CeX myself to ask what was happening. It took over 10 emails just to arrange for my laptop to be returned, and in almost every reply I had to repeat that I physically could not come back into the store because I had left the country. Instead of listening to what I was saying, I was repeatedly told the same thing, and when Customer Service contacted the store, they claimed to have no recollection of me explaining my circumstances, effectively implying that I was being dishonest. In the end, I had to ask my mother to drive over an hour to the store after finishing work just to collect my laptop. Even then, she had to call me from the store because the staff member initially refused to hand over my laptop and was asking for an order number. At every stage, a simple issue was made unnecessarily difficult because nobody was willing to acknowledge the original error or take ownership of resolving it. This has been, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

  Great range of products always in stock. There is wheelchair access and plenty of room to get around. Staff are great and very knowledgeable.

  The shop does everything a CeX is supposed to, as in buy and sell. However, the customer service is subpar. At least half of the staff at all times look at you as if you’re a waste of time, and speak to you like it as well. Considering you sell items to them for less than half of the price they sell them for, good customer service seems like a basic right that they don’t meet. I, and seemingly a few other reviewers, don’t think selling to this CeX is worth your time,
