Have been taking Tessie the Golden Doodle here for 13 years.
Staff have always been considerate and caring.
They took care of Sister Penny's cremation 2 years ago.
387 are an extension of our family.
One of the very best veterinary practices in the West Midlands. The care, compassion, and professionalism they show is second to none. They’re always there when our babies, Danny and Sandy, need them, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care. Thank you for everything you do! 🐾❤️

After using this practice for a few years now I don’t know what’s gone on but the care our cats have received has been below par, one of our kittens was quite poorly and needed medication and when it was handed over we went home to then receive a call saying don’t use it , as it’s the wrong medication, now the nurse was honest but the other 2 staff she was on with said it will be fine don’t say anything, how bad is that .
Another instance, the same kitten was losing his battle months after to live as he became fully paralysed , and he couldn’t breath so we made the decision it wasn’t tight to prolong his agony do we asked the vet to help him and to be kind and help him over the rainbow bridge, all we got at first from the vet was I haven’t eaten I have a headache and I thought you was going home to get Dignipets in , we replied he won’t make it home he was open mouth breathing, so she helped him but she was disgusting and no one should suffer that no empathy or understanding, she did apologise after. One of our other cats having treatment for lymphoma, the same vet didn’t pick up that her chest was full of fluid , we asked on a Saturday to refer her to willows and I got from the nurse we are dealing with an emergency, I sed I appreciate that but our cat needs to be referred, eventually after arguing they did refer and luckily when we got to willows they dealt with our cat straight away and said she is critical due to a large amount of fluid on her chest , willows helped her and we much appreciate there help. This is just a few instances there are many more but the thought of our cat drowning in her own fluid is disgusting , when I complained to Hamidh the owner he said thank you for your feedback I said it’s not feedback it is a complaint. I am still debating to complain to the rcvs as they where willing to lie and cover up drug errors which was more than once I might add and treat a poorly kitten in a way he just needed dignity at the end of his life, and for other cats to be treated fairly and with compassion, absolutely would not recommend, the vets don’t have enough empathy unless they have eaten and don’t have an headache.

We have been going to 387 for around 20 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.
We want to thank Emma our wonderful vet and Rachel T. Senior veterinary nurse for their care, compassion and utter professionalism in caring for our very poorly cat Chaplin. Last week we had to make the heartbreaking decision to end his suffering. The care from both Emma and Rachel was outstanding they made the most stressful afternoon slightly more bearable and Chaplin felt the love.
Thank you both.
Also thank you to Angie on reception for always going the extra mile and caring.
We had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our nearly 15-year-old husky this morning, and I honestly can’t thank the whole team enough for how they looked after us.
From the moment I called, the receptionist was so kind and understanding. She told us to come straight down, and that small act of compassion meant more than she’ll ever know.
When we arrived, the vet was already waiting for us and had a quiet room prepared. Throughout the appointment, he treated both us and our dog with such genuine care, dignity and respect. He never rushed us, explained everything gently, and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes.
Something that meant so much to us was being able to leave through a private exit afterwards. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made an incredibly difficult moment just that little bit easier.
You never want to find yourself in this situation, but if you do, I can’t thank this practice enough. Every member of staff we dealt with showed kindness, empathy and professionalism when we needed it most. We will always be grateful for the way they cared for our boy and for us in his final moments.
