  I’ve recently had engineered oak flooring fitted throughout my downstairs by SL Flooring, and from start to finish the service was amazing. Simon, who fitted the floor, was absolutely top class. He made us feel very comfortable having him in the house, was first class at his job, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I’m very picky, so he definitely had a challenge on his hands, but he handled everything professionally and with great attention to detail. He always talked me through any changes that needed to be made, put the hours in to get everything right, and left no mess behind at the end of each day. Yes, engineered wood flooring and having it fitted properly is not cheap, but you truly get what you pay for — the quality of both the product and workmanship speaks for itself. I highly recommend SL Flooring, and if you’re having engineered wood fitted, Simon is definitely the person to ask for. I would 100% use them again in the future if needed.

  SL Flooring provided exceptional service from start to finish. The fitters Scott and Calum did an excellent job can't recommend them highly enough. Nathan provided a quote promptly and completed the job by assisting in trimming and refitting the doors. Overall a superb job carried out by an excellent team. Thank you all for your outstanding contribution

  Simon Stokes fitted our herringbone flooring on 20th April 2026 and did an absolutely fantastic job from start to finish. The attention to detail was excellent, especially with the herringbone pattern which was laid perfectly and has completely transformed the room. Simon was professional, reliable, tidy, and clearly takes real pride in his work. He kept us updated throughout, arrived when he said he would, and the finish is top quality. We’ve had so many compliments already on how good the floor looks. Would highly recommend Simon Stokes to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy floor fitter. Brilliant workmanship and service all round.

  I can't thank this company enough. A huge thank you to Jordan and Owen for doing an immaculate job of my flooring. From the start of the measuring up with Nathan coming out,to the end result from Jordan and Owen fitting the flooring, all I can say is excellent. I would highly recommend this company, for there expertise, friendliness and keeping the job very tidy in clearing up, I cannot speak highly enough
