  Went in with Nintendo hardware and games. Didn't expect much at all for them. Staff very pleasant and explained what they could and couldn't take. Ended up with £130 for games and 3 handsets. I need to locate some leads for other items and should get even more cash. Very please

  So it has not been a great experience today at Cex & unfortunately will not be using the burton store again! Firstly they refused my perfectly working console due to a little dust but said if I was to give it a clean that they would take it, so off I went round to Asda & bought some wipes and cleaned the console throughly and went back to Cex, Secondly this time however they decided they would not honour the online selling price & gave me a lower offer instead which I excepted but after all that the staff member I was dealing with decided to go & have a little chat with there colleague which then turned around and said that because of abit of wear on the 2 perfectly working controllers & a little surface rust on the screws they would fail the test completely (even tho they never even tried any of it) that they would not take the console or controllers at all! I would also like to add that they also refused to take another perfectly working console I was trying to sell because the warranty sticker had a slight scratch on it but clearly had not been tampered with! But on there very kind advice they simply said to take my items to cash converters, so thank you very much for all your help guys…….
