  I bought a pair of used mesh WiFi units online and one was faulty. I was told by customer services to take only the faulty one to a store. Upon arrival I was told very inconsistent reasons by different people why they couldn't take the faulty unit back. After queuing for over 15 minutes... First they said they couldn't test it without a working one. Then they said they needed to order a working one from another store. Then they said the other store wouldn't send it because they're a franchise. Then they said I needed to bring the other unit for a refund, but they would still test it. Then they said that wouldn't be possible because I ordered online which is a franchise too. I eventually gave up as no one seemed to have a clue what to do, and I just wanted either a refund or them to take it for a warranty test. The satire on SNL UK about these stores appears to be spot on!

  I love CeX. The prices for used items are similar to retail, but no one else gives you a 5-year warranty! So I don't see any problem with buying second-hand when new items from regular shops only come with a 2-year warranty, or sometimes just one. I managed to build half of my PC for 70% of the retail price, so I'm chuffed to bits.

  Had bought a iPhone 13 mini from another store and had some continuous issues with the charging port, Etienne helped me today and was absolutely amazing so just wanted to give my thanks. (Hope I got your name correct haha)

  Same issues as any CeX has, really. Unfair buying and selling prices, quite a distance from my home, that kind of stuff. Otherwise, just average CeX experience.
