  Wouldn’t recommend. Went in to sell my iPhone 12, and firstly was told that they wouldn’t take it as the top soundbar was too quiet. I took my phone to the Apple Store where they cleaned it and ran a diagnostic test. Upon returning to CEX, I was told that they couldn’t take my phone a second time due to it being an American model. When I asked what difference this made, the employee said ‘we just can’t take them’. I’m sure it’s no fault of the staff, I expect CEX just don’t want to take iPhone 12s - but why they couldn’t just tell me this the first time I don’t know! Waste of time.

  Had a good selection of games however found the ones I wanted online brand new for Les than cex wanted for used ones, everything seems overpriced in there lately

  I have been regularly buying and selling PS5 games at Kingston CeX since I bought PS5 machine in the May at CeX, and I have generally had a satisfactory experience. Recently, I sold a few games and received cash, but I was unaware that there is a significant difference in value between cash and gift certificates. As a PlayStation gamer who frequently buys and sells games, I would have naturally chosen gift certificates had I known about this difference. My complaint is not about the price itself, but that I was not properly explained this point despite having made multiple transactions and even signed up as a member. I only found out about the difference after checking online later. Of course, I know this is something I should have asked about first, and I do not intend to complain. However, I would like to know if it is possible to refund the cash I received and exchange it for the gift certificate value. Unfortunately, because I was completely unaware of this difference at the time, I discarded the receipt and no longer have it. I would understand if that is not possible, but I request a clear explanation. I believe that clearly informing customers about the difference in exchange value between cash and gift certificates would significantly improve the customer experience. This is especially important for gamers who frequently trade games. For reference, Yesterday atfernoon I sold four PS5 games (Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Sackboy, and Split Fiction) and received £47 in cash. I would be very grateful if you could let me know whether it is possible to return the cash I received and have it exchanged for a voucher instead.

  I was there few week ago to sell my monitor, staff took out from a box and drop it not sure if by accident or purpose, however my monitor was sell just for £8, i bought it for £180, it was in very good condition till staff drop it on a floor and made damage a screen around, i think staff did it on purpose for reduce price value for a monitor, next time sell your stuff on fb market or anywhere else

  This was the worst Cex store I've ever been to, the service was terrible, unlike other Cex stores I've been to because I love Cex stores. I hope I never have to go back to this specific one.
