  I don’t usually leave reviews but Ashtead Fireplaces really deserve one. The whole process from visiting the show room to the install of my wood burning stove has been absolutely seamless. It’s rare these days to work with people who offer a fair price for the work, turn up when they say they will and are thoroughly pleasant when in your house. Jack and Matt at the shop were so helpful answering all my questions and really responsive. Marcus and Gary who did the install were absolute professionals who have clearly done this for many years and were so nice to have around the house. They were also great with my kids who were both off on summer holidays and watched on! We had an old wood burning stove inset into an old fire surround, but I wanted a false chimney breast installed in my room so I could have a large free standing stove with media units either side. They worked out how it could be done, sorted all the dimensions, built the chimney breast and organised literally everything from start to finish. They then recommended a carpenter to install my media units who has also been a fantastic recommendation. I have wanted to do this for a long time and assumed it would be a pain for me to organise various trades people, but they organised everything and made it completely hassle free. The final result looks absolutely amazing and is a massive enhancement to my house. Would recommend highly!

  Ashtead Fireplaces came highly recommended - I’ll certainly do the same! Great selection in showroom, knowledgeable staff and installation managed seamlessly by their team. Outstanding service from start to finish. No surprise they’ve been going for 30+yrs! Absolutely LOVE our log burner, wish we’d got one sooner. Thank you

  Professional service from beginning to end. From the first visit to the shop the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The work was spread over several days. They were on time extremely tidy and cleaned up when they had finished each day. The finished fireplace and log burner looks better than what we thought. I would highly recommend this company.
