I had previously used Essex Kilns to service one of their kilns but had no idea they also looked after pottery wheels. Not many companies do. With a broken wheel and of course a Ceramics show looming (always the way) I was rather stressed plus the make I have is no longer manufactured. However David was really helpful on the phone and I arranged to send it to them. The engineers looked at my wheel diagnosed the problem, a quote was sent out and work went ahead using a spare part from another pottery wheel company to fix the issue. The service was efficient, David is super prompt with email responses and he was able to schedule delivering the wheel back to me free of charge when coming to this area. An excellent service all round. I would highly recommend them.

I had a problem with my kiln blowing a fuse, David at Essex kilns was super helpful on the phone and when I sent him photos he advised what to do. I've also had them to service my kiln previously and put on a new control panel and both were great. Thank you guys! Michele @ The Pottery and Craft Studio

I found Essex Kilns through a friend during an emergency situation with my kiln not firing to temperature, whilst working to a very tight deadline for an important show. I was very stressed and the engineers at Essex kiln sorted out an emergency visit the next day from one of their engineers. Lukasz came and replaced the thermocouple and stayed to see the kiln heat up to temperature. We had some great chats about ceramics as Lukasz was very interested in the process and enjoyed making his own ceramics. This was a breath of fresh air after months of trying to find an engineer to come and service my kiln (there are very few engineers in the London area and many people I had contacted either didn't respond or seem interested in doing the job). Now I have found Essex Kilns I am very happy to have their support and know they also care about their customers work which is really special and unique.

I had an annual maintenance service on our kiln and also asked for some training and a manual. All was done so effeciently and the engineer that they sent to site was fabulous, she was really helpful. I could not ask for a better response.
