  I attempted the DAS scheme with a different school up North, due to certain variables I failed my mod1, it also came at quite a high expense in comparison. I was then recommended to go with Andy at Toucan, from someone who had passed their Mod 1 and 2 A license tests first time with him. I should have done this from the start, his tuition is second to none, very knowledgable, great at delivering information as and when required and is genuinely keen to get people trained up and passing tests. Nothing more, nothing less. As mentioned throughout other reviews, definitely the most competitive prices about, I think you’d be hard struck to find anything at a lower price that gives the quality of instructing as Andy does. Due to the nature of my job it’s difficult to be certain on dates that I’m free for training/test days, but this wasn’t a hindrance to Andy and is very happy to work around your availability, so much so, one week I couldn’t make the tests I was booked in for, sure enough I was booked in the following week. Passing both tests first time. Absolute faultless experience and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Andy and Toucan for someone looking to get their license!

  As I am sure most of us do, we all get a few quotes to compare prices, I was in contact with another school who gave me a date, I agreed to the date and never had a response. Another school gave me a date for after summer in 4 months time. I contacted toucan and received an immediate response, in under 3 weeks I had my theory done, cbt, mod 1 and mod 2 all passed first time with minimal training. Andy has been very informative with emails and texts and his instructing is above the highest standard in order for you to get that first time pass with minimal minors, his success pass rate shows just that. He has an excellent car park training area to get you mod 1 test ready and supplies you with well looked after modern bikes. Thanks Andy for the excellent training. Highly recommended.

  Full A passed today! Couldn't ask for a better instructor. Andys attention to detail is second to none, he doesn't miss anything if you want to be fully confident on passing your motorbike tests Give Andy a call and get booked in.

  Highly recommend Toucan. Andy has the patience of a saint to put up with me. I went into Mod 1 and Mod 2 knowing all the routes and exactly what was needed from me to pass. His guidance made everything clear and gave me the confidence to perform on the day. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.
