I'd like to thank Andy @ toucan motorcycle training for all he has done for me whilst I was training with him he is amazing at what he does. If anyone is thinking of using Toucan for Thier training look no further they got me through mod 1 and mod 2 with zero faults and only 2 months after doing a CBT with no previous experience on a bike.

Needed to take my DAS. Andy was great. I had experience of riding so some bad habits to lose. Really enjoyed. Great facilities and bikes to ride. I Would recommend.

Andy is unquestionably experienced in riding bikes and teaching people how to do so safely, I had a really pleasant experience doing a full A2 Course. As someone who knows how to ride a bike, Andy won’t teach you how to suck an egg but will certainly pull you up on things below standard.
Andy even told me that I didn’t need any more mod 1 training and saved me some money on an extra training day.
Thanks again Andy, all the best.

Right through from initially emailing to leaving voicemails Andy's communication wasn't clear.
On the day the CBT was booked he didn't even say hello to me and introduce himself, I'd turned up at the wrong place so was running a little late which I explained so I thought maybe he was annoyed. His vocabulary wasn't very clear and he chose to only communicate through my male friend in the run up so I had no prior communication bar 1 message..
I wished to try a geared bike, after unsuccessfully getting the bike off the stand he decided I needed to use a manual one, which I felt would've been nice to try again. On the manual bike after doing a couple of laps around Andy decided he felt I needed more training, which I was happy to have- as was the person with me- (I was lacking confidence having not been on a bike for 12yrs since my 2stroke-) instead he just cancelled the whole day. I asked nicely as did the person with me, explaining if we had the whole day booked for us, and we then paid for training additionally no one would be out of pocket and time would be utilised.. however it was clear there was no other option and no compromise.
Very awkward character, not very friendly or just hated me (or females from the get go!) will not return.

I attempted the DAS scheme with a different school up North, due to certain variables I failed my mod1, it also came at quite a high expense in comparison.
I was then recommended to go with Andy at Toucan, from someone who had passed their Mod 1 and 2 A license tests first time with him.
I should have done this from the start, his tuition is second to none, very knowledgable, great at delivering information as and when required and is genuinely keen to get people trained up and passing tests. Nothing more, nothing less.
As mentioned throughout other reviews, definitely the most competitive prices about, I think you’d be hard struck to find anything at a lower price that gives the quality of instructing as Andy does. Due to the nature of my job it’s difficult to be certain on dates that I’m free for training/test days, but this wasn’t a hindrance to Andy and is very happy to work around your availability, so much so, one week I couldn’t make the tests I was booked in for, sure enough I was booked in the following week. Passing both tests first time.
Absolute faultless experience and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Andy and Toucan for someone looking to get their license!
