Went in not looking for anything in particular early in the morning. Pretty crowded because of Jane Austen festival. Then found the Highlander Blue Ray. Went to the payment counter and he said he couldn’t find the disk. I left saying that I’ll come back later in case they find it. Came back at lunch time and he said they still couldn’t find it. I left again, disappointed. Before closing time I went back again to check and lo and behold! They found it! Nice! Bought other movies too. Happy.

Bought a £470 iPhone 14 Pro Max. After setting it up, the display and battery weren’t recognised, the phone was overheating after 10 minutes, lagging and clearly faulty. I brought it back only 5 hours later. The staff were nice, but after a 30-minute “warranty test” they somehow found nothing wrong with it, despite the issues being clearly visible in Settings. I wasn’t given a refund, only a £470 voucher, which is honestly really disappointing considering they sold me a faulty phone. Also, they wouldn’t let me check battery health or service history before buying it. For a company this big, I expected much better.

Been here many times to buy and sell and have always had a good experience. It can get quite busy but the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Recently Lucca helped me for over an hour whilst I was trying to sell some old PS2 games. A great little shop that does what it sets out to do.

I have brought my items to this store several times to sell them. Each time, I was told that I would receive payment within 24 hours. However, after waiting three or four days, they contacted me and said they would not buy my items and that I should come and collect them. When I asked why they had rejected the items or what was wrong with them, they gave me no proper explanation at all. This is very frustrating and a waste of customers’ time. If you are not interested in buying the items, please say so on the first day instead of making people wait for several days for no reason. Customers deserve clear communication and respect for their time.
