  Poor customer service. Products not advertised correctly. I went into the shop in July 2026 and asked about a mobile and whether it ran WhatsApp. I was told it did and was given a charging cable to go with the phone. The phone didn’t run WhatsApp and the charging cable didn’t fit the phone. I asked for my money back. I was told I would have to return the next day for a voucher and couldn’t get the cash back. I recommend visiting GiffGaff or BackMarket online instead. Products on these websites work as advertised and can be easily returned.

  First time I had to try their 5-year warranty. It's absolutely not worth the money switching on my Nintendo switch for my daughter. The left hand controller stopped charging. I thought would be a simple case of taking it in and getting it swapped over. But no they demand. Have the whole console and both controllers and they want to swap that over despite the fact what they were offered me was a downgraded unit with a poor battery and a very poor screen. The unit was absolutely filthy and despite my best efforts, they could not see reason. When I offered to buy a brand new left controller for 32 lb. I found then that it was much cheaper to buy it on Amazon or anywhere else from CeX. If I buy the single unit for the controller separately and that goes wrong they would replace it. But if you buy these with a console beware, they want to take the whole console off of you, which is an utterly ridiculous defies logic and is the most poor customer service I've ever experienced. I would avoid this company like the plague. The lady serving me was very helpful. I could see she was tied to the company's policies which are not there for the consumers only for their own benefits. I don't know how she manages to work in such a shop because she must get complaints all day long. I apologise to her and why they wanted me to take my cap off. My head as a 50-year-old male is just downright laughable. It's not like I was wearing a baller club in riden and e-bike into the shop. Is it? What a cretinous shop. Avoid it all cost.

  This store is shocking. We took several items to sell. They took the items and said they would contact us to let us know if the products passed the electrical exam. They then phoned to say some items had not passed electrical test. We said we would come back and take all our items as it wasn’t worth it. When we arrived we could not get back two items. They refused. Told us to contact customer service, who have said this is impossible. They have stollen our items without our confirmation. When we were in the store, the team were all really interested in this one product and all talking about how they wanted one. No surprise that’s the product we can’t get back. Appalling customer service.
