  Absolutely shocking customer service in this store. They do not care about customers or sales at all. Arrogant staff and really snappy. They all act so hard done too but they wouldn’t know a hard days work if they actually did one. Genuinely shocking. Area manager needs to get a grip

  1/5 Stars – Huge drop in standards over the years Having worked at CeX in the past, I know the staff culture is usually friendly and polite, which makes the state of the Galleries branch all the more disappointing. Over the last two years, customer service here has completely gone downhill—I haven't seen a single staff member smile in ages. On my recent visit, the queue didn't move for 20 minutes, leading several fed-up customers to just give up and walk out. Two staff members were tied up on a single issue—one lad was trying to handle it while another stood over him before seemingly taking over, rather than the main guy just stepping in directly. Meanwhile, another staff member was just walking back and forth. At no point did anyone make a gesture or offer a simple "I'll be with you as soon as possible." Neither the person in front of me nor myself received an apology for the wait or even a basic polite greeting when finally served. It was just a horrible, negative atmosphere overall. It's a real shame to see how poor this store's standards have become.

  Called in to Washington branch to sell the old phone and got a fab price for it. Unexpected but we are not complaining. The girl serving was very professional and asked did we want the money direct into our bank as it takes at least 24 hrs to give it a full check. Next day we got a txt and 30 mins later it was in the bank.

  Small CeX store in the galleries, however still loads of things to choose from. Staff are knowledgeable, polite & professional.
