  I’d give this store a minus rating if I could. I’ve never written a negative review before, but I’ve had such an awful experience with this store over 24 hours I’ve had no other choice. I went to sell my Apple Watch in store yesterday, after receiving a quote online. I took the watch in yesterday, the staff member gave me a quote and I said yes. He then said we needed to set up an account, after 10 minutes he said I’d need physical ID which I didn’t have. He should have said this was required at the start. I left to go and get my ID. I returned to the store, this is now my second visit, with my ID to make my account. The account was set up and he said I would need to leave my watch for testing. I was first told the test would take ten minutes, then told the test would take an hour. I said ok, I would come back in an hour. He said when I come back in an hour, it’ll all be done and I will collect my cash. He printed out a receipt, and I left to wait around for an hour. An hour later I have returned, this is now my third visit. The male staff member who was previously serving me, now did not even look at me. Instead another staff member stepped in to say they could not get into my watch, I would have to unpair it. I asked why nobody contacted me within the hour to say this, and to explain the test has not been done. They said my account had not been set up properly with my phone number. So I wasted another hour for no reason. It was getting towards the store closing time and we realised I’d need to come back the next day. I returned the next day, this is now my FOURTH visit in 24 hours. I explained what happened yesterday. This new staff member was apologetic. He took my watch and quoted me a lower price than yesterday. I said that’s not fair, it’s not my fault that I was messed around until closing yesterday, and it wasn’t mentioned to me that the price could be different today. I spoke to who appeared to be a supervisor, he said he couldn’t do anything, didn’t apologise, and said I could just complain online?!… I said I wanted to leave my watch for testing, and instead of coming back for cash and having to visit a fifth time? I wanted a bank transfer. They took my details and said this would be fine. I left the shop, hours later I receive a phone call. The staff member informs me they have not got my bank details on file to make said bank transfer….. I am shocked. I have never dealt with customer service like this. The process has been so painfully hard. I feel the staff members (bar the one who called me at the end for the bank transfer) do not know their own processes. Some serious process upskilling and customer service training required. It’s safe to say this is the first and last time I’ll ever be using CEX.

  They buy the item your selling to them for cheap even if its mint and then sell it for more , not worth going
