  Brilliant service!! I took my bracelet to have a link removed as was too big. . He offered to sort it whilst I waited. He then gave me my bracelet back adjusted and told me there was not charge!! I couldn’t have asked for better service!! . They were selling g some lovely jewellery as well!! Can thoroughly recommend!! Angela Peel

  Came in to resize an eternity ring. So impressed with the service and work that we ended up having both of our wedding rings looked at. The suggestions on what to do and the work that was carried out was exceptional and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend McAvoy & Beardsmore to anyone.

  I rung McAvoy & Beardsmore for advice on a gift for my dad and honestly said that it wouldn't work very well due to the metal in my original pin badge. but suggested a lovely, handmade idea. The staff were and are AMAZING, professional and really thoughtful in their advice and service. They called me within a week with a quote and I went ahead with it. The commissioned piece was made in two weeks and I am so glad that they recommended their idea - it looks absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to give this to my dad for his birthday. Such thought and care has gone into every part of the brooch and I couldn't thank them enough - I really couldn't - I would most definitely highly recommend this local business to anyone who has any jewelry needs, the staff will be more than happy to help you or even give honest advice.
