  Abrupt. Unhelpful. Dismissive. That was from the manager. I'll take my business elsewhere even if it means driving to Cambridge.

  Avoid this Cex at all costs, the only staff which has been reasonable is (I believe the manager) she’s about 30 ish, dark long hair and friendly. The other staff absolutely not. Very long wait times, Condescending staff, Rude, Inconsistent store. I won’t be going back. They even have made comments about why I can’t see an item because of my glasses, WHICH ARE PRESCRIBED, being tinted. I have to remove my prescription glasses to see an item? Defeats the purpose of seeing it doesn’t it? Hopefully training can be done on some of the staff, waste of time.

  We had a really smooth experience trading in a console and accessories after a very poor experience at another local branch. Everyone was friendly, super helpful and thorough.

  A good experience all told, if you get on with the CeX business model. I had some issues with a device in the first few weeks and was able to return it hassle free, despite it working when the staff tested it. Friendly people, slightly higher than average prices (memory crisis notwithstanding).

  Cex is the heaven for videogamers, a lovers of electronic stuff. My kids love it. Prices are reasonable and they garantee what you by for some month or a year. It is ideal for mum's though...unless you play videogames too!
