  I went to gooch accident repair centre because of there excellent reputation in this town in the PAST when I,ve had to use them. Unfortunately the end result on this occasion was way below my expectations as to what was promised to me in the quote it started in October 2025 when I got a quote for (minor repair )and spray the side of my LS400 lexus, courtesy of a hit and run I suffered , it was sprayed but discolouring of the paint occurred after some weeks ,they agreed with me, so it went in for a cut & polish hopefully to rectify that problem, it did not work ,it was then resprayed in March 2026 under warranty but the end result was the same as the first attempt, paint discolouring after weeks, so I asked for my money back as per my consumer rights for the paint side of the equasion, but this was not forthcoming, although they agreed on the first occasion and the second occasion that it did not match and was noticeable, I referred them to the quote I was given, but there recollection of what was said and promised was different to mine, came as no surprise to me though. As there was nothing in writing regards to the quote. and then stated that the paint match meets industry standard, a vague terminology in my opinion. Interesting they did,nt use that terminology with the first time the paint discoloured and agreed with me ,and resprayed it under warranty but they did use that terminology after the second attempt although the discolouration was exactly the same as the first attempt. weird that aye! .So the moral of this story is as follows , if you get a quote get EVERYTHING WRITTEN DOWN AS TO WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO , ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO MATCHING THE PAINT, I,m old school and because I,m old school I take people at there word when it comes to what people say to me and promise me and expect them to adhere to what was promised. don't make the same mistake as me, get it written down . Hope this post helps someone. Have a look and see what you think of the four panels front wing both doors and rear quarter panel were sprayed check the match against my bonnet roof bootlid rear bumper and wing mirror my original lovely pearl white .baring in mind the rear door & rear quarter panel were undamaged, but they said they would have to spray the whole side of the car ( white panels ) stating they would need to do that to match the paint to the original. WELL YOU FAILED TWICE TO DO THAT DID,NT YOU. Looks crap spoilt my vehicle . Every time I look at my vechicle I,m annoyed and angry that goochaccidentrepaircentre did this to my vechicle, the names the same above the door, but the quality is not the same, the old gooch accident repair centre would not have given back a customers car to them with this diabolical paint match.they were renowned for quality in the past as i can contest to becaused I used them on several occasions .

  Did a brilliant repair job, but the interior trim and the rubber seal for the door was scuffed by what looked like heavy grubby boots, I took the car back and they cleaned it up but the scuffs on the interior plastic and the rubber door seal are still visible to me

  I am very pleased with the service I received. The options for repairing my car were explained thoroughly. I never felt rushed. I was treated with consideration and reassurance. The details were clearly explained with emphasis on arriving at the most cost-effective solution. The bodywork repair itself was excellent. Nice touches too, such as replacing the number plate, which I was expecting to do separately. Thank you. I highly recommend this business.
