  I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Armstrongs. After losing my wife, and having to take make all of the funeral arrangements, I had already visited 3 other funeral directors, while try to find the right people to take care of her. By chance a friend of mine recommended Armstrong's from personal experience and I arranged an appointment. The first thing, is that the person you meet isn't just a representative, they are the person who will look after everything on the day, and that i found very reassuring, having one point of contact. Louise answered all of my questions, was truly sympathetic, and made the whole experience respectful and reassuring. Nothing was too much trouble. The day itself, went exactly as it should have. Flowers were photographed so that I didn't have to, cars arrived on time, every moment was handled smoothly and respectfully. The team took care of everything, leaving me and our family able to concentrate on what we were there for. For anyone choosing a funeral director, you will be in very safe hands.

  15 years ago we bought funeral plans that were to be administered by Armstrong's funeral service. The time arrived for one of the plans to be administered, and I have to say that it was beautifully handled. The care shown to both the deceased and partner was beyond reproach. I know that when my time comes it will be handled in the same professional and caring way. I am very thankful to Armstrong's and would highly recommend them.

  We couldn't have asked for more from the team at Armstrongs. Louise looked after all the funeral arrangements from our very first conversation, and was personal, sympathetic, and endlessly helpful throughout. Dan and Louise came to collect our loved one from home with such care and respect, and then conducted the funeral itself beautifully on the day. Both of them were so professional and empathetic, you could tell they genuinely cared, not just professionally but on a human level. Their attention to detail made an incredibly difficult time so much easier to bear. We're so grateful for everything they did for us, and we'd recommend them without hesitation to anyone going through the same thing.

  Personally I found everyone within armstrongs to be incredibly compassionate, caring and totally professional, the kindness, information and advise given to me during the organisation of my mother’s funeral, the day of the funeral and the aftercare was truly wonderful. Armstrongs made me feel as if they were all wrapping me in a warm protective calming hug which took all my stress and anxiety away. A truly wonderful friendly family business.
