Turned up at 9 o’clock today when the store opens to start the appointment process. When the doors opened the queue of people were told that the manager hadn’t turned up so the shop couldn’t open until later. Disappointing.
No wonder it got so many bad reviews. I ordered an iPhone and was there to collect the item. Stood in the ‘Order pick up’ for a long time. Many staff just walked past as if I was invisible. I finally asked a staff who put me into a queue but then had to wait for quite awhile again. That staff who helped to put me into the queue asked for the sales in the front of the shop to help (as there were 2 sales there but no customers) but the lady sales said to him rudely that there has to be two sales in the front of the shop (presumably just standing and not serving customers already paid). The staff who tried to help apologised and said I will need to wait. finally as I waited for too long so I asked another staff who reluctantly stopped and helped to get my order out. He said they are having an exceptionally busy Tuesday evening but it seems to me that the number of staff inside the shop exceeded the number of customers - Maybe there is a logistic issue or staff morale issue. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of customer experience - very disappointing
I visited the store to purchase a new Mac for my studio and received exceptional service from Moussa. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly polite throughout the entire experience. He took the time to answer every question I had and even introduced me to features and capabilities I wasn’t aware of, which was greatly appreciated.
Thanks to his expert advice, I left confident in my purchase and am extremely pleased with the specifications he recommended. The level of customer service he provided was outstanding, and I can’t thank him enough for making the experience so enjoyable.

I booked in a cracked screen replacement for first thing Saturday morning. I turned up on time for my appointment only to be told my repair was in fact a triage and not a repair. Then you get chucked in the queue with everyone else and get told you have to wait 5 hours. At no point does Apple warn this is a triage. I even popped into the Regent street branch last weekend hoping they could do it. Again, they could have told me their process and triaged it then. I spent a fortune on the phone and the repair is equally expensive yet you provide some of the worst customer service.
This is in addition to Apple’s AI customer service which frankly is worse than the old National Rail enquiries.

Tried to get a battery replaced by apple care, A complete waste of time, Couldn't book before date, when i confirmed when i finally had a booking told by 3 different people that it has to be sent away and there are 3 options, drop my one off instore and return 10 days later, send my old one off and it will be returned repaired or pay £500 for a new unit that will be eventually refunded, I then managed to get hold of the store and told they can look at my devise but they dont keep parts in stock and i have to return, i mentioned that the battery is failing, he took my refrence number, confirmed that the battery was being replaced, i asked if he could get a battery in so i didnt waste more time in going to and from the store more than once, he then refused.
how can the small independents repair on demand but the brand isnt interested?
