  Stayed here on 15th August for 1 night, was a last minute booking but the process was very easy and efficient. Room was in a brilliant location for the beach and for restaurants and bars. Apartment was very clean and well equipped although the communal area could do with a refresh and the front door slammed all night and only real negative was the internet didn’t work during our stay and it could do with having a fan and was quite stuffy during the hot weather

  Very cheap accommodation. Information from host was received straight from booking and simple to follow. I was messaged asking if I settled in ok or if there was anything I needed. The house felt more like a HMO than a hotel but we made our self’s at home just fine. Room was nice; minimalistic yet perfectly adequate, smart TV was a bonus. Only negative was the room was very hot and we would have liked a fan (I should have asked earlier but by this time it was late) reading other reviews it seems the host is making improvements. I would stay again giving the price, location and free parking (send them your veh reg)

  Our room was for a night to crash whilst in the beautiful location of Portsmouth. Room was reasonable for the night. We just wanted a bed & shower the next morning. Went for a drink the night we stayed - literally a few roads away. Had breakfast there too to recharge/fuel for another glorious day in Portsmouth. We slept from 2100-0900 so obviously suited our needs.

  I had an excellent experience staying at Portsmouth Stay. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well presented, with great attention to detail throughout. The location was convenient, and the hosts were professional, welcoming, and highly responsive, ensuring that my stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.   The property in Taswell Road looks nothing like the pictures that have been posted. Smelt damp, no carpet, filthy, rusty radiators, toilet and separate shower dirty and mouldy in places. Walls and doors were filthy and the kitchen was dirty, kick board hanging off, drawers not shutting and dirty. Work tip needed replacing and the oven looked like it wanted to walk off to the top ! Utterly filthy. Microwave was rusty. Garden over grown and definitely no hot tub ! Cigarette but strewn in the garden. Windows filthy with rotten wood. Ad stated that you will have the entire place to yourself and only be sharing with those in your party. No ! There were other people there who looked like they lived there. Stained pillows and mark on the mattress not to mention the sheet was clearly too small. Avoid ! I have the picture evidence!
