  Being an antiques dealer based in Woodstock from where I have been trading for 30 years - I use Robert Gripper to preserve the historical integrity of the numerous items that I bring to him for restoration. Robert’s work is exceptional and he treats each piece with the care and attention that it deserves not like the ‘one size fits all’ attitude of others. There is a huge difference between those who churn out volumes of restoration work and Robert who’s priority is to preserve each piece that passes through his workshop tackling each piece on an individual basis so that once his work is completed - the item on which he has worked could seamlessly be included in any museum collection.

  I have spoken to Rob a few times and he is a fantastic guy who is really passionate about his work, he is highly skilled and I have been very impressed with his work. I really love vintage and shabby chic style furniture and I would highly recommend Rob Gripper if you require any type of furniture restoration or repairs.
