  Tourist trap, you can have 100s of tourists doing this tour with you. Not engaging and hard to follow. Saw other tour companies that evening also hosting about 100 tourists... not the true spirit of York. Moreover, most stories were about pubs for you to try "and feel haunted". All in all, if the tour says you can just book on the spot, skip it, it is a trap.

  Good fun, large group but handled well. As much as a history lesson as a ghost walk. Very enjoyable.

  Loved this walk. It’s a guided tour of York that stops at regular points to tell you the ghost stories related to that part of town. Guide was very knowledgeable and told stories with suspense, a touch of humour and occasional jump scare. A great introduction to the area and for those interested in the paranormal and local history. We visited in June so our tour was in the light. I expect it’s even better in the dark.
