  We booked Michaela and Throw A Dog A Bone for our wedding as a dog chaperone and I would 100% recommend her for any event in the future that you would like your pet to attend and make sure they are in safe hands. Throughout the whole process, Michaela was thorough, double checking all details about our dog, their diet, their likes and dislikes, but also checking about how exactly we wanted her to support our dog throughout the day. From meeting up for a walk in the build-up to the wedding, to being so flexible on the day, Michaela always had our dog's best interests at heart when they were in her care and this meant we had total faith in her. So many people commented to us how brilliant it was that we had been able to have our dog there to greet people as they arrived and to mingle with guests throughout the day, and all of that comes from Michaela's hard work and brilliant skills handling her. It was lovely to know that on such a special day for myself and my partner, we were able to have our dog there and be a part of such fantastic memories. Thank you Michaela - you were amazing!

  I put my trust in this company to walk my dog with due care and attention whilst I was at work, but unfortunately Michaela brought my dog back home one day unable to walk on one leg which was hugely upsetting. The worst thing is that my partner was home at the time and was not made aware of the injury, only to call me at work in tears as this company (Michaela) had opened the door, dropped our dog off and instantly left my premises. When I asked what happened, Michaela said my dog had run out of view on a walk and came back limping but it was nothing serious (it was very serious!!), but when I got back home from work, my dog couldn't put her leg on the ground. I contacted Michaela since who had very limited conversation and advised to go through her insurance, not wanting to engage in any conversation with me personally, refusing all responsibility for her actions and reluctant to give her insurance details. Eventually her insurance company were extremely unhelpful and I've paid out £8000, all costs on me, rocketing my premiums with no help from Michaela or her insurance company (they haven't paid out a penny). My poor staffy can't walk for more than an hour now and Throw a dog a bone pet services (Michaela) has not helped me at all, refusing to comment on the situation, so I would not recommend this company if you want your pet looking after properly. My dogs walking life is ruined. It's a dog walkers full responsibility to care for your pet whilst you're not there and this unfortunately didn't happen in my case and when trying to pursue an insurance claim I got completely ignored.

  I couldn't be happier with Michaela - the care, attention and love she gives to my dog is AMAZING. My dog Dexter also loves her homemade biscuits- her activated charcoal ones are his favourite but he also loves the butternut squash ones. Thank you so much for being in our lives!
