  Kip McGrath Harrogate provided excellent, intensive support for our son following less-than-optimal GCSE results. Richard was reassuring, professional, and hands-on throughout. In just a few short weeks our son was able to face the November retakes and pass them. Kip McGrath tutors helped him to grasp the importance of exam technique, with laser-focused question practice, and a helpful, non-judgmental, and supportive approach. After every session, the tutors gave us a brief in-person update about his progress. Our son’s confidence in tackling exam questions improved significantly, and he was much more equipped to estimate his own performance in questions as a result. Along with Harrogate College, Kip McGrath tutoring has been a winning formula for GCSE resits.

  My daughter only started with Kip in the year of her GCSE’s after her mock projection gave her a 3/4 in mathematics. She went to Kip twice a week on their recommendation and was taught with a small group of kids in the same position as her. This gave her confidence and reassurance that she wasn’t on her own. Kip went through exam papers with her and gave her plenty to practice at home. She could then ask the tutor Andrew for any assistance with the difficult questions. The classes were tailored to her needs and she actually enjoyed going even though mathematics is definitely not her skill set. Anyway she obtained a grade 5 in her maths and we are all beyond thrilled and thankful for Kips help.

  I was searching for a Maths tutor for my son as he had expressed some concerns coming up to his GCSE exams. Richard got in touch from Kip McGrath and was so helpful and managed to fit him in for a couple of sessions a week in the lead up to his exams. It has really helped my son to have this extra 'refresher' tuition, and he said that the tutors are really friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend Kip McGrath and use their services in the future!
