  Unfortunately Lunascan doesn’t have NHS compatible data sharing PACS, which means your imaging can’t be uploaded or accessed by the NHS system. I came to Lunascan and they identified hernia but then when I went to the NHS to access surgery the hospital said they were not allowed to import the images from Lunascan because the latter doesn’t have sufficient security apparatus in place. The hospital made me do another ultrasound scan and actually said i don’t have hernia and therefor not entitled to surgical treatment. I’m still in a lot of pain and now developing complications. My advise would be to ask the private ultrasound clinic first before you pay money whether they have NHS compatible systems. It’s a real shame became the imaging they did was really good but effectively useless to me because of how the system works. I spoke with Lunascan on the phone about it and with email and they just said “sorry, we can’t help” - kinda a waste of money

  Had an early pregnancy reassurance scan, the clinic was clean and modern and the scanning room was cosy and not overly clinical. Uchenna was fabulous, discussed each step/view with me and my partner and always left space for questions if we had any. Thank you for being so reassuring, kind and taking the time for this special moment!

  Well after going to my usual nhs 20 week, having been told it was anomaly AND gender scan, the sonographer did not look for the gender, did not take clear photos of baby, rushed us through the whole process, and we were left disappointed. Luckily, Luna were able to fit us in the same day for a gender scan! The place itself is stunning! It’s calm, clean and quiet. The staff are absolutely amazing! Our sonographer was sooo lovely!! He was making jokes with us, telling us all the bits he was checking and looking at, and they offer to change the light in the room to reveal the gender to you. They also have little bits you can buy after the scan if you’re wanting to tell other people in a special way. Honestly from a day which was completely ruined by the NHS, to a day I will remember forever for all the right reasons!! Thank you so much Luna!

  I managed to book a PCOS scan here on the same day, after being told I’d have to wait 16 weeks to get one on the NHS! I was so nervous but they made me feel so comfortable and really put me at ease. It was a very thorough scan and they explained everything in detail. I will definitely be coming back here if I need any further scans in the future 😊

  Great service, such an amazing team !!! Starting from arrival , we were welcomed by a warm smile and also asked if we would like a beverage. Clifford was amazing, he was gentle and very good at explaining the procedures to me which made me feel at ease. I would totally recommend the clinic as they made me and my partner feel very welcomed and we weren’t rushed either a I had loads of questions and they were all answered to me and explained. Great service!!
