The entrance is wheelchair and buggy friendly. There is a hand rail to use when going up the ramp to the shop. The shop is quite small but there is a large selection of a very wide selection of mobility aids from small items to scooters, lifts and lots more.
Gary and the other staff are extremely helpful and provide excellent service. They go above and beyond to make sure you get there correct equipment to meet your needs. The prices are very competitive. It's a better business to go to than other large companies. Despite the size of the shop theres a wide range of wheelchairs and scooters available. You can test drive them to make sure they are suitable for you. They deliver any purchases to you if required and even service your mobility scooter for you. They will collect it and drop it back to you. Even if you breakdown they will help whenever they can.
They have another shop in Warsoo but I haven't visited that shop.
Just to say a massive thank you for going above and beyond to help my parents at center parcs. You truly made such a difference to their holiday. Thank you.

As a retired General Nurse and Health and Safety Consultant, I have dealt with many mobility aids companies over my 38 year career and Mansfield Mobility Centre is definitely the best by far. It is a family run business and they genuinely care about their customers, nothing is too much trouble, whether it’s sourcing a specialist piece of equipment or promptly supplying and delivering it. I first started to use them around 16 years ago when I managed a specialist care home for younger adults with complex physical disabilities. If I ever needed a piece of equipment urgently, I knew I could rely on Gary and his team to get it to me quickly and at a great price! Around 11 years ago my mother needed some aids for daily living and Gary was great at providing advice and support with the equipment she needed. When I became suddenly ill a few years ago and needed some equipment, Gary delivered it to my home address within a couple of hours of me contacting him! My father bought a mobility scooter from Mansfield Mobility Centre a few years ago as the one he’d bought previously was of very poor quality and the after care service from the company he bought it from was dire. With this one he feels much safer and the service that Mansfield Mobility Centre provides is second to none. When dad has had a puncture, Jamie has often repaired it on the same day and when it needs servicing etc. dad is never without it for more than a couple of days. More recently my 90 year old father fractured his hip and needed several aids for his rehabilitation. Gary was great at advising and providing exactly what he needed, even delivering a commode which was needed urgently. He keeps a lot of popular items in stock so I’ve never had to wait for anything, which is fantastic when you need the equipment promptly ready for hospital discharge. Only last week my dad needed a Rolator frame for use outside. Jamie was great at advising me which type would be best, and when I took my dad into the shop, Gary was brilliant at letting him try them to see which suited him best, adjusting the height on them as needed. He was very patient and genuinely wanted to make sure that my dad had the most suitable frame to meet his individual needs. He clearly cares very much about his customers because whilst we were there he noticed that dad was dragging the back legs of his NHS Zimmer frame on the mats, so he fitted sliders to make it easier for my dad. This made a big difference for him when we got home! I can’t thank Gary and his team enough and highly recommend them. I would not go anywhere else for mobility equipment and aids for daily living!

Massive thanks to Mansfield Mobility and Gary for sorting the perfect scooter for my friend. No hard sell, just great professional advice about best value to suits our needs and pocket.
This review is on behalf of my mum who doesn't have Internet access and has asked that I relay her comments.
The item purchased has made a real difference to my mum due risks of falls so that's a positive. I had to make several calls which were unanswered resulting in me emailing to get a response, excuse was that they were very busy and that phones were playing up? But others got through?? As regards visits to showroom there were 2 to allow Mum to see the item, for her to decide if it was for her or not, the first visit you were NOT there but even then we felt rushed. However, a time was scheduled for Gary to deliver, fit and explain how to use the item.
To start off with everything was extremely rushed. More time should have been allowed if necessary. My mum is elderly and has hearing problems. If the time to explain things more clearly and slowly is a problem allow more time. My mum thought there would be at least an hour to show her how to use. Gary just kept saying you do this, you do that etc then basically had to rush off leaving me (daughter)to try and re-explain all aspects of the item. I understand Gary had something personal on his mind (understandable) and unsure if that was the reason for the rush. However the customer is the reason your business keeps going year after year. It shouldn't be a case of profit over people.
If my mum doesn't tell you how she feels then you don't know.
UPDATE TO REVIEW:
I've REDUCED to one star due to, not only personal spite but you are mobility and you are supposed to be in a position to HELP people with issues, you clearly have LITTLE TO NO understanding of peoples issues, be they physical or psychological even though you've managed to survive in the industry for so long.I was on hand to try and help Mum but YOU seemed intent on explaining the use of the item to me instead of the customer (Mum) you stated that she seemed a little confused, that was probably because you were rushing plus telling me the details of how to use it, if I had not been there how would this event have played out? This personal attack on me by you is neither warranted or professional I was merely conveying how YOU made Mum (86 year old) feel during your visit, but you feel justified to make a personal attack at me, Also whilst we all appreciate that sometimes our lives throw us a curved ball, as a "professional" you should not nor do you have the right to throw that at customers, if and yes I understand it personal events make you feel off piste maybe you should not deal with the public. Your comment (ie "this one might be difficult to please). How dare you! Throw such a comment at a frail old person or ANY customer for that matter, or have you thrown that comment at me?
"Not worth the time and effort" that works both ways. IF Mum has any issues I/she may be in contact regarding it as per the warranty however, I will NOT go to you or recommend you to anyone as I find your demeanor abusive and threatening.
You supposed to help people with difficulties.
